MACAO, CHINA – German multinational corporation and ERP kaiser SAP held the SAP SMB Innovation Summit 2017 for partner companies in the Asia Pacific Region. The occasion showcased new technologies and offerings designed specifically for the Small and Midsize Business market. The 3-day event happened on March 6-8, at the Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel in Macao.
Each year, SAP awards affiliate organizations from various territories in the region to acknowledge the top players from each respective spectrum. This year, Mustard Seed Systems Corporation (MSSC), a business solutions and services provider headquartered in Quezon City, bagged the award for Net New Name Partner of the Year – ASIA 2016.
MSSC took home the same award for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) last year, and stepped up their game to compete in the Asian arena this time around.
Mustard Seed was the inaugural distributor of SAP Business One Starter Package in APJ and has been successfully selling it ever since. 2016 witnessed a new record for the company when it posted its highest growth rate since 2010, at 112%.
MSSC CEO Osler Fajardo avowed his insights during the Partner Panel Discussion. He discoursed about the strengths of Mustard Seed and how effective traditional and digital marketing campaigns boost SAP B1 sales.
Olympic gold medalist and author Ben Hunt-Davis was the special guest and keynote speaker of the conference. He spoke about teamwork and how it manifests in planning, up to execution.
A 20-year forecast for SMBs was also presented where geographical expansion, micro-verticals or industry specific labels and digital marketing will all play key roles in its evolution.
The summit was concluded by talks about next generation SAP Business One and strengthening ties between Digital and Traditional Marketing.
